Update :The Chicago Veggie Pride Parade 2012

The First Annual Chicago Veggie Pride Parade was June 2, 2012 in Grant Park and it was a total success! We had  over 600 attendees which was above and beyond our estimates.

The current Miss Chicago America (in the green) (and hopefully the future Miss America) is Vegan :-)

The Vegan Revolution has begun!!

I had such a wonderful time helping to plan this years parade. I have learned so much and worked with great people. I never realized the time and effort that it takes to plan an event such as this. All the hard work certainly paid off and we are even more prepared to plan future parades.
